He was predeceased by: his parents, Gédéon Belanger and Gisèle Belanger. He is survived by: his child Ryan Belanger; and his siblings, Micheline Grenon (Denis), Rhéal Belanger (Louise), Gérald Belanger (Louise), Lise Malette (Daniel), Suzanne Lachance (Denis Vaillancourt) and Diane Gosselin (Michel). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
