He was predeceased by: his parents, Caterina Valsi and Giuseppe Valsi; his niece Catherine Chiarelli; and his close friend Judith Moses. He is survived by: his sister Gloria Chiarelli (late Pasquale Chiarelli); his niece Dolores Iaboni (Roberto); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alessandra Iaboni and Giacomo Iaboni.
