He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Caron and Lucienne Caron; and his siblings, Thérèse (late Girard Godin), Claire (late Gérard Côté), Roger (late Suzanne Lecoupe), Maurice (Sophia Nikorak) and Cecile (late Donald Lauzon).

He is survived by: his wife Linda Caron; his son Jason Caron; his stepchildren, Tammy Boucher and Shelley Boucher; and his siblings, Rejean Caron (Mary Walsh), Lillianne Caron (Gary Locke), Denis Caron (Donna Heppenstall Buffham), Jo-Anne Caron (Richard Déchêne) and Normand Caron. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
