He was predeceased by: his parents, Herménigilde Rochon and Colombe Rochon (Bélair); his child Margarite; and his siblings, Mercedes, Yvon (Irene), Claude (Bonnie), Ron (Louise), Marie Derkson (late Neil), Rita Guindon (late Larry), Yollande Seguin, O'Neil (Anita), Vivian Quesnel (late Maurice) and Dan.

He is survived by: his children, Wendy Rochon (Carole Mallette) and Wayne Rochon (Nicole Hopson); the mother of his children Joan Caron; his grandsons, Scott Rochon and Jacob; his siblings, Marie-Lou Aubin (late Clement), Rejeanne Baker (Wayne), Barbara Ingram (Jack) and Dube (late Leo); and his close friend Florence Berubé.
