He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam and Euphemia (Grant); and his siblings, Mary, Alex, Lawrence, Angus, Gerald and John.
He is survived by: his wife Claudette Cameron; his children, Phemie LaRue (Denis), Cindy Ellis (Steve), Laurieanne Evans (Brian), Marlene Othmer (Marc LeBeau), Nancy Othmer (Shane Barclay) and Trish Othmer (Carlo Matulich); his grandchildren, Ray (Angele), Justin (Leah), Sara (Jaime), Alexandria (Zach), Amanda (Richard), Tyler, Mitchell (Meagan), Madison and Mackenzie; his great grandchildren, Patrick, Alyssa, Camryn, Abigail, Payton, Kendell, Macey, Ava-Lee, Emma, Ivy-Rae, Tamara, Kaiden and Taylor; and his siblings, Rita, Gennie, Margaret, Anne, Patricia, Donald and Owen.
A reception will follow at 12:30 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 616, 377 Allbirch Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Foundation for the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
