Peter Koostachin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peter Koostachin (Timmins, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Peter Jr. and Raymonde; his close friend Maggie Hookimaw; his parents, Moses Koostachin and Christine Koostachin; and his siblings, Luke, David, John-George, Daniel, Jenny Mary, Phemie and Annie.
He is survived by: his sisters, Rita, Agnes and Rose-Mary; and also, Noella Blackwell and Gabriel Hookimaw. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Transfiguration Church (201 Fifth Street V9N).
