He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Boutin; his daughter Lorraine (Gord Parker) of Thunder Bay; his parents, George Boutin and Eleanor Boutin; and his brothers, George, Henri, Adrien and Gerard Boutin.

He is survived by: his children, Roger (Armande Arbour) of Verner, Yvonne (John Kulyk) of Thunder Bay, Raymond (Gisele Baka) of Leamington, Rolland of Winnipeg, Pauline (Barry Sokoloski) of Peterborough, Paul of Timmins, Susanne (Peter Thompson) of Peterborough, Norman (Danna Steinke) of Alberta and Reina (Greg Cool) of Timmins; and his siblings, Raymond, Donald, Gilles and Cécile. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
