He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Mascioli and Anna Mascioli; and his brother Dario Mascioli. He is survived by: his wife Elena "Lena" Mascioli; his children, Philip (Patricia) of Timmins, Teresa Ann Ferri (Robert) of Timmins and James (Rita) of Timmins; and his grandchildren, Pamela Roy (Darren), Michael Ferri, David Mascioli (Kayli), Kelly Mascioli, Corey Mascioli (Brittany), Brittany Stennett (Anthony), Christopher Mascioli (Lauren Beaudry), Bisnonno of Isabelle, Lauren, Dario, Domi and Penellope.
He also gave back to his community by volunteering with the Red Cross, the United way, Meals on Wheels and dedicated countless hours to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation.
