He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Gauthier and Lucille; his brother Richard (Paulette); his parents-in-law, Joe Chopp and Noëlla; and his brother-in-law Dave Chopp (Alice).
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Paul (Christine) and Gail; his grandchildren, Krysta, Tierra, Kara and Makayla; his brother Roger Gauthier (May) of Kapuskasing; his sister-in-law Debbie Stephens (Bill); and also, Andy Beauchamp (Doreen) and George Beauchamp (Gayle).
