He was predeceased by: his parents, Henri and Elianna; and his siblings, Laurier (Barbara), Richard, Hector, Ange-Aimé, Laurianne and Laurette.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Ouellette; his son Patrick Carriere (Candace); his stepchild Angele Lavictoire (Jonathan Plante); his grandchildren, Kendra, Travis Carriere, Nolan and Logan Plante; and his siblings, Rose-Aimée Briere (Marcel), Ronald (Georgette), Henriette Thiffeault (late Roger), Huguette Bureau (Luc), Elianna Michaud (Joel) and Henri (Sylvie).
