He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Hamelin; his mother Dorien Hamelin (Richey); and his brother Richard Hamelin. He is survived by: his children, Marlo Hamelin, James Hamelin and Sophia Hamelin; his grandchildren, Ayla Hamelin Trudel, Kya Sophia Trudel, Madison Pulice, Ethan Bailey, Collin Moluchi-Hince and Ciara Pulice; and his siblings, Roger Hamelin (Diane), Sue Vick (Reg), CaroleAnn Hamelin and Cynthia Robillard (Denis).

Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
