She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chookomolin and Caroline Chookomolin; and her brothers, Gregory (late Harriette) and Abraham (late Margaret). She is survived by: her spouse Alex Luke Bird; her children, Kimberley (Dean), Gabriel, Kevin, Carolyne (Aaron), Charity (Xavier) and Alexander Johnathan (Sky); her grandchildren, Mickayla (Tony), Shane, Russel, Anthony, Jared, Dale, Hudson, Taylor, Quintin and Adrianne; her great grandchildren, Rowen and Willow; and her siblings, Pauline (Mike), Albert (Helen), Judy (John), Margaret (Maurice), Richie (late Rita) and Louie (Marlene). She is also survived by friends and her many nieces and nephews.
