She was predeceased by: her husband Roland Ethier; her grandchild Shannon Ethier; her siblings, Hervé Lachapelle, Euclide Lachapelle, Albert Lachapelle, Irène Lacasse, Rita St-Jean, Wilfrid Lachapelle and Yvonne Lupien; and her close friend Kenneth Clifford.
She is survived by: her children, Gisèle Blanchette (François), Philipe Ethier (Joanne), Arthur Ethier (Estelle), Jean Ethier (Melinda), Louis Ethier (Denise) and Lise Ethier-Mason (Mario); her grandchildren, Chantale Maki, Joe-Anne Mckittrick, Denis Blanchette, Michelle Lapointe, Rachelle Ethier, Yves Ethier, Roxanne Howson, Christian Ethier, Serena Ethier, Samantha Ethier, Kayla Mason and Shelley Mason; and her stepchildren, James, Linda, Sean Clifford and Alice Robert. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
In light of the current pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
