He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Martha (Smith) and Roderick Hugh MacDonald; his wife Verla MacDonald (Brookes); his children, Shannon Merenda (Paolo) and Darcy MacDonald of Timmins; his grandchildren, Joey of Timmins, Grady of Timmins, Damia of Timmins and Darien of Timmins; and his siblings, Bill MacDonald, Hugh MacDonald of Windsor and Mary Kazur of Kirkland Lake. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
