With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Magdalena Skrtic (Timmins, Ontario), who passed away on August 9, 2018 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Magdalena Skrtic to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas Skrtic; her son John Skrtic; her parents, Maria Volovic and Ivan Volovic; and her siblings, Franjo, Josip, Nikola, Albert, Barbara Bahoric, Maria Zunic and Anka Volovic.
She is survived by: her grandson Nicholas Skrtic (Sam) of Porcupine; her stepgranddaughter Lindsay Paradis of Sudbury; her great grandchildren, Sidney Skrtic and Jake Skrtic; and her friends, Micky Cyr and Darlene Cyr. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 12 from 6-9 pm at Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home 705-268-4488 Donations made to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
