She was predeceased by: her children, Michael Simmons and Christine Biggar (Creston); her siblings, Einar, Jack, Arvid and Esther; and her sister-in-law Anita.

She is survived by: her children, Rick Simmons (Judy) and Glenn Simmons; her grandchildren, Jason Simmons, Melanie Simmons, Brooke Simmons, Jamie Biggar, Ken Biggar, Keith Biggar, Darien Gerrard-Simmons and Cheyenne Gerrard-Simmons; her great grandchildren, Sierra Van-Tent, Jenna Biggar and Max Biggar; and her friends, Dora Leduc and Margaret LeBlanc. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
