He is survived by: his caregiver Julie; his stepchildren, Gabrielle Bossé, Samuel Bossé (Danica) and Cameron; his close friend Raymond Dagenais (Joelle); his friends, Josée Bergeron (Dan) and Louise Levesque (Todd); his parents, Joseph Ruel and Laurentienne Ruel (Tootsie); his mother-in-law Murielle Gaudet; and his pet Nike. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
