It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Mattinen (Timmins, Ontario), who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Rheal Valliere. He is survived by: his wife Nathalie Mattinen; his son Russel; his stepchildren, Mikayla and Shane Bird; the mother of his children Kim Bird; his parents, Ronald Mattinen and Viola Mattinen; his brothers, Michael Mattinen (Lyne) and David Mattinen (Jennifer); his nieces and nephews, Stéfanie, Nicolas, Aiden and Liam; his mother-in-law Cecile Valliere; his siblings-in-law, Mike Valliere and Louise Straatman (George); and his nephew Andy Straatman. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Remembrance donations to the Sports for Kids Timmins or to the Timmins Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Donations are being accepted in memory of Kenneth.
