He was predeceased by: his parents, Julianna (Kabai) and Miklos Okros; his brother Niclaus Okros; his aunt Elizabeth Kabai Chartier (Lorenzo); his cousin Karl Podmaniczky; and his father-in-law Henry Lelievre.
He is survived by: his wife Faye (Lelievre); his sons, Joseph Jr. (Jessica) and Michael; his grandchildren, Ava, Ayden, Payton, Landon and Bailey; his great grandchildren, Henrik and Beckam; his siblings, Julie Bouley (Jack), Katalin Boisvert (Marc) and Frank Zavodnik (Lucie); his nieces and nephews, James, Jessica, Emilie, Eric, Alec and Sara; his mother-in-law Helen Lelievre (Gosse); and his cousins, Liz Podmaniczky, Paul and Michael.
In lieu of flowers, remembrance donation to the Timmins District Hospital Foundation, Timmins Food Bank, Salvation Army or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
