He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Scott; his children, Arthur Scott, Cecilia Scott and Paul Scott; his grandchildren, Ryan and Pamela Scott; and his parents, Alfred Scott and Sarah Nakogee.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Scott, Lucie Scott, Gilbert Scott (Margaret), Madeline Scott (Meeshan), Francois Scott (Minnie) and Jacinthe Scott; his grandchildren, Candace, Joe, Mandy, April (Leo), John, Honarine, Michael, Melissa, Nadine, Tiffany, Justin, John C, George, Brianna, Sarah and Jeremiah; his great grandchildren, Alesha, Kaylee, Riley, Ethan, Hailey, Shyla, Lucas, Dallas, Adrienne, Gwenyth "Gwen", Jakob, Jonathan, Mason and Levi; and his great great grandchild Skyler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St-Anthony's Cathedral (274 5th Ave, Timmins, ON P4N5L4).
