We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2020, at the age of 97, John Haasen (Timmins, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jost (Drieka Haasen), Teis (Jans Haasen), Bert (Dien Haasen), Louis (Hannaka Haasen), Arnold (Jean Haasen), Peter (Tina Haasen) and Lisa (John Vlemmix).
He is survived by: his wife Arnoldina Wilhelmina; his children, Hendrika (Randy) and Frank (Ivy); his grandchildren, Jonathan Haasen (Lyndi Buchar), Sonya Cernik (Michael), Edward Haasen, Katherine Klippenstein and Gabriel Klippenstein; his great grandchildren, Damian Haasen (Aurela Kozmaqi), McKenzie and Paisley Cernik; his brothers, Marinus (late Anna) of London, Harrie (Will) of Deurne and Dutch; his parents-in-law, Bert Claessens, Fien and Hein Schepers; his sister Janis van den Eerenbeemt; and also Nederland.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the building fund for St. Anthony of Padua R. C. Church or The Lord's Kitchen, both of Timmins, or a charity of your choice would be a welcome tribute.
