With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Reid (Timmins, Ontario), who passed away on March 10, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Reid to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; her grandson Brenton; her siblings, Jack Kelly and Colleen Irvine; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Reid and Kathleen Rousson (George).
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Franca), Kelly (Chris), Gary (Laura) and Kevin (Nicole); her grandchildren, Taylor (Shannon), Donna (Tyler), Scott, Riley (Dan), Matthew, Kate and Charlie; her great grandchildren, Blake and Huey; her sisters-in-law, Jacqui Reid and Gail Laforge (Jerry); her nephew Pat Irvine (Brenda); and her friend Shirley Edmonds. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11am at St-Anthony of Padua Cathedral, following the current COVID-19 guidelines respecting the number of attendees, social distancing, and the wearing of masks.
In lieu of flowers remembrance donations to Timmins and District Hospital, The Lord's Kitchen, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
