She was predeceased by: her husband Roy MacDonald; her parents, Chester Shelp and Gladys Shelp; and her brothers, Victor and Cameron.

She is survived by: her children, Brent MacDonald (Melissa) of Timmins, Kerri-Lee MacDonald of Timmins and Heather MacDonald-Belanger (Mark) of Timmins; and her grandchildren, Christian Olienick-Plourde, Iain MacDonald, Abby MacDonald and Hadleigh Belanger.
