He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie; his sons, Nathaniel Koosees (Terri), Roy Linklater and George Linklater; his siblings, George Linklater Sr. (Dorothy), Mike Linklater (late Denise) and Pauline Segouin (Gaston); and his parents, Sidney Linklater and Elizabeth Linklater.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence Linklater, Rita Alisappi (William), Gertie Linklater, Pauline Sackaney (Leon), Jack Linklater (Margaret), Sandra Hookimaw (Jerry), Gauis Linklater (Nicole Gillies) and Whalen Linklater; and his siblings, Mary Koostachin and Phemie Linklater. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
