He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Roy and Huguette Roy; his brothers, Denis, Robert and Gerald "Gerry" Roy; and his daughter Nicole Jones (Gumby).

He is survived by: his brother Donald Roy; and his nieces, Natalie Maddock (Roy) and Sara Roy. He is also survived by nephews, cousins and friends.
