It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jacqueline Eckert (Timmins, Ontario), who passed away on September 14, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Norman; her parents, Treflé Bénard and Eduourdina Bénard; and her siblings, Mary, Paul, Alice, Patsy, Irene, Art, Anne, Léo and Georgette.

She is survived by: her children, Colleen (Larry), James (Debbie) and Alison (Brian); her grandchildren, Riley (Tina), Peter (Miranda), Erika, Laura (Dan) and Edie; her great grandchildren, Keira, Owen, Julie and Desmond; and her sister Simone Jasmin. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have made a decision to have a private family service.

Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be greatly appreciated.
