She is survived by: her common-law partner Boniface Shigwadja; her siblings, Rita, Lucie, Gilbert (Margaret), Madeline (Meeshan) and Francois (Minnie); her nieces and nephews, Candace, Joe, Mandy, Honarine, Micheal, April (Leo), Melissa, Nadine, Justin, Tiffany, Sarah, Jeremiah, George, Brianna, Alesha (Kaylee), Riley, Ethan (Hailey), Shyla, Lucas, Skyler, Dallas (Adrienne), Levi, Jakob (Gwen), Jonathan and Mason; her aunt Pauline Tookate (Joseph); her cousins, Lucie, Brian, Sarah, Geraldine, Rose, Xavier, Phemi, Irene, Colleen and Jennifer; and also John Scott.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre (150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St-Anthony's Cathedral (274 5th Ave, Timmins, ON P4N5L4).
