She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Stanley Johnson; her brother-in-law Lucien Beaudry; her parents, Albert Lachapelle and Colette Lachapelle; her siblings, André and Christiane; and her grandfather André. She was also cherished by her nieces and nephews.
