Ivor Jones Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2019, Ivor Jones (Timmins, Ontario), born in Stoney Stanton, East Midlands passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Elizabeth Jones (Sally); his parents, Ernest Jones Sr. and Violet Jones; his brother Ernest Jones Jr. (Sonny); his sister-in-law Joyce Jones; his brother Raymond Jones; and his brother-in-law Doug Webb.
He is survived by: his wife Ginny Jones; his children, Jennifer McLeod (Keith) of Timmins, Olwen Lavoie (Allain) of Sudbury, Thomas Jones (France Moreau) of Montreal and Trevor Jones (Roxy) of Timmins; his grandchildren, Dylan (Sonal), Devin (Natisha), Liz (Eric), Kamin (Ellena), Danika (Mackenzie), Aiden, Kynan, Liam, Ella-Rose, Joaquin, Sloane and Kingston; his great grandchildren, Derek and Rebecca; and his sister Clairette Webb (Al). He is also survived by Uncle Ivor will be missed by many nephews/nieces and great-nephews/nieces.
In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Rugby Foundation/Brantford Harlequins Rugby Football Club would be greatly appreciated.
