He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Newbatt; his child Skye Smith (Curtis Sawyer) of Thunder Bay; and his siblings, Ron Newbatt (Shanon), Joan Thethewey (John), Jim Newbatt, Vern Newbatt (Anita), Lorraine Newbatt, Art Newbatt (Sue) and Lela McCall (Clayton). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
