She was predeceased by: her spouse Emile Portelance; her parents, Eugene Provost and Alma Provost; and her siblings, Lucien Provost and Lucille Demers.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Hummel (Rodney), Gilles Portelance (Denise) and Brenda Desjardins (Paul); her grandchildren, Matthew, Austin, Christian (Carmela), Brandon, Josée, Danielle, Paul (Sara) and Marc (Danielle); her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Marco, Isabelle, Mason and Emilio; and her sister Marcelle Lauzon.
