He was predeceased by: his wife Paula; his parents, George Béland and Pat Béland; and his brothers, Louis Béland (Alice) and Ronald Béland (Jeannine).

He is survived by: his children, André Béland (Alma) and Denise MacIvor; his grandchildren, Jeremy Korpan, Michael Béland, Sarah Lajeunesse (Jason), Ashley MacIvor (Cole), Andrew MacIvor (Cattabry), Ian Santos, Alisa Santos (Gage), Aiden Béland and Alana Béland; and his sisters, Mireille Gauthier (Rhéal) and Fleurette Piché (Adrien). He is also survived by his 6 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Respecting his wishes, combined with Covid-19 guidelines, a private celebration of life will be held for immediate family only.
