It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hélène Smith (Timmins, Ontario), who passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lessard and Aldea Lessard; and her siblings, Jean Paul Lessard (Lucille), Georgette Lapointe (Emile), Colette Perrier (Leo), George Etienne Lessard (Diane), André Lessard (Therese), Jacqueline Lacroix (Jean Paul), Maurice Lessard (Laurette) and Jeanne Mance Charlebois.
She is survived by: her husband Ron Smith; her children, Louise Hughes (Mark), Marc Smith and Julie Lacourse (Ray); her granddaughters, Jessica Hughes (Austin), Stephanie Hughes (Ian) and Emma Lacourse (Mat); her great grandchild Melanie; her brother Jules (Rose) of Ottawa; her brother-in-law Hector Charlebois; and her pet Caramel.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Timmins and District Hospital ICU would be greatly appreciated. Donations are being accepted in memory of Hélène.
