It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helene Melanson (Timmins, Ontario), born in Kapuskasing, Ontario, who passed away on December 14, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Yvonne Lafleur and Charles Lafleur; her husband Ovila; her sons, Danny and Robert; her grandsons, David and Ian; and her siblings, Clifford, Gerald, Geraldine, Ann, Georgina Mair (Alex), Lillian, Jeannette and Leo-Paul.
She is survived by: her sisters, Doris Jagosz (Gerald) of Traverse City, MI and Diane Lavigne (Moe) of Ottawa; her brothers-in-law, Jack McPhee of Kapuskasing and George Ethier of Barrie; her children, Norm Melanson (Wendy) of Port McNeill, BC, Doris Nadeau (Richard) of Timmins, Louise Normandeau (Mario) of Timmins and Edward Melanson of Timmins; her grandchildren, Amy Melanson (Steve), Marc Melanson (Jennifer), Kevin Martineau (Alania), Cindy, Jason Normandeau and Keegan Restoule (Sylvie); her great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Sage Melanson, Kayla, Chloe Melanson, Brianna (Matt), Tyler (Alexia), Candice, Xavier Martineau, Bryce, Brody, Kenzii Normandeau, Lydia, Kaylee and Elizabeth Restoule; and her great great grandchildren, Linkyn and Abel Martineau.
