He was predeceased by: his son Derrick Mitton (Annette); and his parents, Ralph Mitton and Evelyn Miller. He is survived by: his wife Irene Mitton (Southcott); his daughter Deborah Stapley (Dan); his grandchildren, Jennifer Galloway (Mike), David, Deanna Mitton, Andrew Stapley (Alyssa) and Patty Raymond (Alex); his great grandchild Kemika; and his sister Phyllis Pancel (late Joe).
