He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold VanLuven and Della VanLuven; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Graham, Mike Marks and Ken Stewart.

He is survived by: his wife Linda VanLuven (Nee Stewart); his daughter Janice Bacvar (Derek); his granddaughter Alyssa Bacvar; his siblings, Harold (Sharon), Marie, Les (Connie), Kathy (Tex) and Lloyd; his sisters-in-law, Lois, Joy and Linda; and his close friend Sheba. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
