He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vincent Lauay and Anna May Nora Lauay; and his siblings, Lillian Lauay, Margaret Thibeault (Lauay), Andrew, Donald, Paul and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his son John; and his brothers, Russell Lauay (Bessie), Hugh Lauay (Pauline) and Raymond Lauay (Bonnie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
