She was predeceased by: her spouse Vernon Smith; her parents, William Irving (Bill) and Winifred Irving; her brother John; her sister-in-law Helen Irving; her aunts, Verlie Tommila (Henry) and Frances Moyle (James); her parent-in-law Martin; and her siblings-in-law, Freda McLeod (Bill), Lloyd Smith (Mary), Garth Smith (Doris), Velma McKay and Myrna McNeil.

She is survived by: her children, Noreen (Lenny Mennella), Howard, Colleen (David McInroy) and Arnold (Deborah Gorman); her grandchildren, Jonathan McInroy, Michael McInroy (Alina Smith), Kyle Smith, Adam Smith (Keira Squire) and Colin Smith; and her sibling-in-law Don McNeil.
