She was predeceased by: her husband James Burnett; her parents, William Bisson and Lucie Bisson; her children, Gérard and Suzanne Martel; and her siblings, Isabelle Riopelle, Rita Riopelle, Germain and Léo Bisson.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Brownrigg (Adrien), Jimmy (late Debbie), Rolland (Vivian), André (Chantal) and Carole Lacelle (late Michel); her siblings, Claire Cormier (Gerry), Marguerite Krakana, Louise Brownrigg, Yvonne Mercier (Rick) and Cecile Dutrisac; and her sisters-in-law, Colette and Lorraine Bisson.
