It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Germain Chartrand (Timmins, Ontario), who passed away, on February 1, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline Chartrand; his parents, Contrand Chartrand and Marie-Louise Chartrand; and his siblings, George Chartrand and Pierrette Steinbrunner.
He is survived by: his children, Carole Humber (Kevin), Rosanne Fleming (Steve), Moe St-Amour (Gina) and Yvon Chartrand (Angie); his grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Jeffrey, Matthieu, Mia, Skyler, Karissa, Haley-Hope and Reyker; his sisters, Georgette Raymond (Robert), Hélène Chatrand, Colette Landmann (Tom), Céline Lilko (Eddie) and Nicole Chartrand (John Pankiw); and his siblings-in-law, Lorraine Chartrand and Peter Steinbrunner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Thank you to Dr. Critchley, Marnie Chisholm (Nurse Practitioner), Liz Feldman (Registered Nurse), Dr. Woods, as well as the nursing staff at the Timmins and District Hospital who took such good care of Dad, particularly with the challenges related to COVID. In light of the pandemic, a private memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday February 5, 2021 at 11 a. m., which will be livestreamed on Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home Facebook Page.
In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation or St-Joseph Parish would be greatly appreciated.
