He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife April MacFarlane; his children, Clayton Poupart, Allysha Butt and Alexis Butt; his parents, Garfield Butt Sr. (Teresa) and Donna Searles (Tom); his siblings, Deborah Filion (Mike Nadeau), Brad Butt (Kristin), Chuck Butt (Vicky), Sherry Massicotte (Jim), Dawn Lortie (David) and Trish McCreight (Jamie); and his close friend Ken Guerin. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Remembrance donations to the Health Sciences North Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
