He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Gibson and Catherine Gibson; his parents-in-law, Bill and Ethel Linklater; and his sister-in-law Pauline Linklater.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Linklater; his children, Vance Linklater, Catia Carrier and Steph Carrier (Michelle); his grandchildren, Alexa Rice, Harley Godda, Cheyenne Carrier and Riel Carrier; his sister Marlene Kapashesit (Wayne); his children, Tyson, Devin, Jasmine, Charnelle, Audrey Caron (Yves), Michael, Julien, Doug Linklater, Lauree, Duane, Kellen, Kyla and Jordan; and his siblings, Janette Haavisto (Jim), Wayne (Wanda), Kevin (Ruth), Linda Henry (late Dan) and Joan Monahan (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
