He was predeceased by: his stepson Roger Bouvier; his parents, Eugène Carrière and Cécile Carrière; and his siblings, Henri Carrière, Raymond Carrière, Roland Carrière and Noëlla Demers.

He is survived by: his wife Noëlla Carrière; his daughter Anne Carrière (James Dunbar); his stepson Fernand Bouvier; his stepgrandchildren, Roger Jr. Bouvier and Ashton Bouvier; his siblings, Aurel Carrière (Pauline) and Madeleine Chartrand (Rhéal); and his siblings-in-law, Jean-Guy Demers, Donald Nault, Jeannine Alain, Jacqueline Cyr and Emilia Collins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice will be greatly appreciated.
