She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Sydney Legasy; her sister Karen Vernal; and her parents, Opal McCormick and Edwin McCormick. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Butterworth; her children, James Butterworth (Vittoria) and Tracy Legasy (Joel); her grandchildren, Kyra, Kyle Butterworth and Emily Legasy; and her friend Rosanne MacQuarrie.
