He was predeceased by: his parents, Léon Carriere and Isabelle Carrière; and his son Bleu-Marc. He is survived by: his children, Michel, Mireille (Gary Morrissette) and Denis Jon (Raquel Manait); his grandchildren, Samantha, Olivier, Justin, Mathieu, Thomas, Gabrielle, Joel and Denis III; his great grandchildren, Kayden and Henry; and his siblings, Denise (Jeannot), Norbert (Denise), Léona (Real), Charles (Jeannette), Renald (Barbara), Fernand (Cécile), Laurette (Paul), Ghislaine (Len) and Pierre (Marianne).
