He was predeceased by: his father Donald. He is survived by: his wife Lynne Schmidt; his son Patrick (Mélodie); his grandson Finley; his mother Dorothy Riemer; his siblings, Joanne Ferguson (Bob), Don (Theresa), Cathy Braidek (Alan), Tom (Sharon) and Rita (Jack Adams); and his pet Tazz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Northern Cancer Fund – Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation.
