He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Cowan; his parents, Lina Cowan (Bignucolo) and Eldon Russell Cowan; his mother-in-law Carol Robichaud; his siblings-in-law, Dan (Val), Judy Osipenko (Rick), Marian Tremblay (Jacques) and Mike (Judy); his stepchildren, Shawn Lafontaine, Luke Lafontaine, Matthew Lafontaine (Andreanne) and Rachel Lafontaine; his grandchildren, Trinity, Charlie, Noah, Roxy and Tiger Lily; his sisters, Anna Harris (Jim), Lisa Boullard (Norm) and Donna Gravel (Ryan); his nieces and nephews, Joseph, Deanna (Travis), Jim, John (Irish), Christopher (Kelly), Amanda, Christina, Luke, Mia and Serena; and his great-nieces, Faith and Harper.

Due to the current pandemic restrictions a private funeral will be held.
