It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen Pontello (Timmins, Ontario), who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carmen Pontello to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Condo; her granddaughter Brianna Pontello; her parents, Rosario Lehoux and Annetta Lehoux; and her siblings, Marcel Lehoux (Pierrette), Madeleine Bisson Lilian (Aurel) and Lola Soltner (Tom).
She is survived by: her children, Linda Poppy (Jim) of Mission, B. C. and Brian Pontello (Charlene) of Timmins; her grandchildren, Lana Cleverdon (Ryan), Mariah Romualdi (Scott), Angela Bailey (Scott) and Gordon Poppy (Michelle); her brothers, Yvon Lehoux (Carrie) and Paul Lehoux (Connie); her great grandchildren, Ella, Mia Cleverdon, Dylan, Ayden Bailey, Adeline and Julia Poppy; and her friends, Madelaine and Marcel Marin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
