He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes Etherington; his parents, Sinclair Ehterington and Elizabeth Ehterington; his sons, Peter and John; and his granddaughter Josie.
He is survived by: his children, Ernest Etherington and Cathay Estrada (Sean Dougan); his grandchildren, Anthony, Tasheena, Shawnee, Josh, Troy, Aspen, Sage, Louie, Maverick, Hayden, Scarlett, Emma and Gavin; his great grandchildren, Jether, Drayson, Scotia, Nehemiah and Isaiah; and his son-in-law Nelson Paul-Martin. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
