She was predeceased by: her child Ernest Metatawabin (Jessie); her siblings, Margaret Sassaville (late Lawrence), Bernadette Sutherland (late Xavier) and William Wheesk; and her parents, Raphael Wheesk and Laura Wheesk.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Metatawabin, Stanley Cheechuk (Mary Lou Tookata), Evatney Metatawabin (Clifford Ferris) and Maggie Metatawabon (Neil Morrisseau); her stepchildren, Stephen Hookimaw, Jeffery Hookimaw and Angel Hookimaw; and her siblings, John Wheesk (Annie) and Anastasia Wheesk. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
